The National Character is determined by the politics of the people. The length of time that a corrupt leader stays in power is direct proportional to the ignorance of his/her people. If the citizens are ignorant, then the limit of the corrupt leader in power is his/her grave.
Disclaimer: The following is not aimed for any other business apart from sensitizing, enlightening and educating the young generation who perhaps intend to rescue our nations from dirty politics.
To the young people who are aspiring to become "good" politicians in the near future, note the following:
1. If you would like to "succeed" in everything as a politician, you must be a beast for you to control your subjects. Beasts use their muscles to control things.
2. As a politician you need also to be like a fox. Fox is very cunning. It is able to smell danger and avoid it.
3. You must embrace the axiom that the end justifies the means. Be end oriented and make sure that there is nothing stops you from achieving your goals.
4. Attend funerals and harambees and all other public gathering and make sure you have a chance to address the people. If it is money, contribute millions of them, because you know how to refund yourself.
5. Be unkind to your competitors. "clear" those who compete you and be the first to send condolences when they die because you saw their death approaching. Attend their funerals and if possible drop your tears too. The weak competitors accommodate them in your regime.
6. Be a law maker and make sure they are implemented. They should favour you even when you go for retirement. Increase your salary because it is your responsibility to do that.
7. Steal billions of money and bank them outside the country. Let it be a secret so that when you die, they all get lost. Be fast in gathering wealth because you don't know your tomorrow.
8. Feed your supporters and your loving subjects with enough because you intend to get security from them in return.
9. Pretend to be good, visit the poor, the prisoners, the marginalized and be merciful to them. Distribute money in streets for people to love you. Anyway, you will get them back.
10. Never Send your children to public school because you have not improved education system. Again teachers will always strike because you don't pay them well. Send them to private school or even outside the country.
11. Open bank accounts for your children especially when yours cannot hold anymore.
12. When you get sick, seek treatment in India, Europe and America Because you haven't improved medication in your own country. Go to Israel because your opponents may poison you.
13. Take public loans if possible because you have your share.
14. Promise people paradise on earth. Speak what people like to hear.
15. Have a strong bodyguards and security officers, because your opponent may any time organize for your dethrone.
16. Let them vote, because you know papers cannot dethrone you from power.
