There Is No Traffic Jam Along The Extra Mile

"Should anyone press you into service for one mile, go with him for two miles." These are words of Christ in the gospel of Mathew 5:41. I realize that things are tough in life to many simply because they are contented with the minimal. The minimal to wake up and to go back to sleep, minimal to go to the college and to come back, to go for work and to come back, to eat and to drink. We are satisfied with the minimal and that's why we are congested.
We find ourselves pressing one another because we are in the trajectory of the majority.

Minimal is the path of the crowd where we think things are okay when they are not okay. In the crowd, noise is found, cheering up,chains, protection, misuse of resources and unfortunately luck of risk taking simply because the majority blinds. How lucky is the one who withdraws from the crowd and decides to go for an extra mile! Unfortunately, in the history of the world, few have managed come out and rarely they do so today. Only the Eagle in the history managed to withdraw from the majority and risked to go extra mile.

When the Eagle realized that things are not okay in the crowd, she decided to go extra mile; high above the see level; a place of no traffic jam. Here the Eagle started seeing things as they are. Extra mile is a place free from biases, blindness, competition, and dejection. Here, the Eagle enjoyed free atmosphere, fresh air and clarity of things. From above, the Eagle was able to see the hidden treasures of the universe simply because there she possessed clarity of things. From above, She knew the amount of speed to apply in order to get that which is on the hands of the crowd. Even the little that the crowd possessed from down the see level, the Eagle owned because the majority; the crowd did not know how to use. Whether the crowd liked or not, the Eagle was able to  grasp even by force. After a long time, the crowd realized that The Eagle had benefited a lot from her. This pushed the crowd to fight for her own rights and respect. Fortunately, the crowd managed some how to expel the Eagle from her ambient. But this was too late. The Eagle had gone far.I find it interesting in the strategies applied by the Eagle. After acquiring  what she needed, the Eagle went far above and consumed everything in style.

Through her ability to penetrate in the essence of things, the Eagle has demonstrated skills to manipulate nature in order to manufacture things of her own. And that's why today the Eagle has advanced in terms of Technology. The moment she realized the ability to penetrate in the essence of nature, the Eagle discovered technology and stopped grasping things from the crowd. This was another step taken by the Eagle. Through advancement in technology, the Eagle has become the best producer of goods that the world has ever known. Today the Eagle produces goods and the crowd consumes them. With the momentum that I see in the crowd, the history will remain the same unless there is a vast change in the manner in which the crowd perceives things.

Today's tragedy is, the crowd dies in the Mediterranean Sea seeking Eagle's help. It hurts to say this. And I ask myself, are we children of a lesser God? NO NO NO. We are Authors of our own misfortune. A lot was given to us and a lot is expected from us. The history has demonstrated time without number that we have failed to make profit to what was given to us by the Creator. The Bible says, even the little that we have, will be taken away and given to the one who has  a lot. Because we are unable to increase that which was given to us.

We have become beggars of all times simply because we follow the rhythms of nature. "It is rain season, let's plant green grains. It is dry season, let us wait for the rains." We don't penetrate in the essence of nature. Without manipulating nature, we will never advance. Technology is found in the act of manipulating nature. Our development rests in the ability to read the signs of time and effort to penetrate in the essence to things.
