One of the gifts bestowed to man is the ability to read the signs of the time and to understand its demands. We must be aware of what time dictates. We must study our surroundings and be conscientious of the things that we should adhere to in order grasp that which is good and right for humanity. It is not enough to know for one to act rightly as the great Greek philosopher Socrates held. In the history of humanity, many have known the right thing to do but unfortunately decided to do that which is wrong and against the rights of humanity.
How many people did Hitler kill in the name of protecting Germany as a country? Did he know that life is a gift and should to be protected and respected? He knew but he chose the opposite. The question that comes to my mind is, what blinds man?

Life that is true for oneself, and life that one is even ready live and die for. It will never happen unless it is started.I get worried when I see young men and women endowed with dreams, inspirations and plans   that never get materialized.I ask myself, what goes wrong!!! The devastating thing is, they never get started. When I look at the history of humanity, I realize that the most successful men and women are those who dreamed and got "started".

When one realizes that change is the only constant thing, then he/she agrees with the Greek Philosopher Heraclitus that everything is in the state of flux and no one can step in the same river twice. How many times did he apply for  different jobs? 30 times and he was rejected in three simple words, "you are of no good". His failure made him strong and courageous to face life with a different angle.  For the first time, he came up with an idea to start online marketing company. With his collaborators, he named it Alibaba. Today Alibaba is the largest e-commerce company in the world. Failure does not matter, what matters is what one does after failing.

Though Africa has been misconceived as uncivilized land, the truth based on African scholars remains distinctive that Africa is the source of world civilization. Today the World attaches civilization to Greeks simply because history has never been presented vividly as it is supposed to be by the western scholars of the time. Due to misunderstanding of history, Africa suffers the greatest plagiarism that the world has ever known.[1] The truth of this matter has been discussed and clarified at length by two African scholars; The Great Henry Olela and George James. The purpose of their writings was to restore the stolen legacy; the origin of philosophical thinking, and world civilization. In the findings, they unveil the truth corrupted by the western scholars as far as world civilization is concerned.

African Concept of Time; The Reason of Her Poverty

The summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro can only be studied at the bottom of Indian Ocean, just as the roots of Indian ocean are studied at the pick of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The same case must be applied to Africa. To understand the tragedy of Africa, one must climb the staircase of Intellectual conversion and combat the idle of minds of Sir Francis Bacon. 

As we speak now, Africa is a continent endowed with vast natural resources as well as great cultural, ecological and economic diversity and yet it remains underdeveloped. The great number of African Nations suffer military dictatorships, tribalism, corruption, moral decadence, civil unrest, and much more poverty. Africa has been classified as the least developed continent in the dinner of civilization. A lot of strategies have been taken upon in fighting poverty and yet no fruits generated. That’s why one must asked himself, what went wrong in Africa? What counts negative in Africa? What are the roots of poverty in Africa? It is for this urge, that I have taken interest in understanding why Africa is in thousands of miles behind other continents in this planet.
